I have managed to finish all the artwork of the 2 books I have been working on and I gathered them all together to put them in order. It looks quite a lot of work, it is, but not rushed, just steady and thoughtful. Made the job quite enjoyable overall :)
Then a day out to Harlow Carr Gardens, and Betty's Tea Room there (yummy)and a little look around the beautiful gift shop there.

Congratulations on finishing the illustrations for not 1, but 2 books! It must be very satisfying to see the work altogether. I think you should go back and treat yourself to something lovely from the gift shop!!
ReplyDeleteExcellent you finished your art work! Slow and steady is much nicer than being in a hurry~ rushing doesn't make for good art! (or enjoying the process). Just last week a friend I chat with said she was going to Betty's!? I'd never heard of it, and now two of you there in a week! Funny small world! Love the little fox on the dish, gives me a little tickle of wantsies too! :)))))) Congrats on completion!
