Just a quick little addition as well, as we managed to sneak another day down in the peak district. We walked along Stannage edge once more, in glorious sunshine, In fact it was rather hot! I saw and heard a Curlew on the top, it was chasing a crow away and I'm not sure if the crow had managed to steal something like an egg?? The Curlew was distressed, it makes you feel helpless for them. I also saw what I think was a Ring Ouzel, I managed to take a movie of it, it sat on the very edge singing away, I thought it would fly off as I approached, but it stayed. Total delight for me and a first, I've never seen one before! The movie has too much wind noise on it to put on the post though. But I will put some lovely sunny photos on! Hope you enjoy them, and that maybe youve had some nice away days too.First photo is the way up and then views on the top and of the edge and the climbers!
Ahhhhh, what beautiful scenery. Such wide open spaces you have there! What a great place for running with dogs! :)))))
